As we mark Mental Health Awareness Week (May 11–17, 2026), with the theme of Action, for yourself, for someone else, for all of us, we are reminded that awareness is only the first step.
Real change happens when we take action.
This week, we urge you to embrace the power of unity and look out for one another.
When we stand together, we are stronger, less isolated, and more resilient against life’s challenges.
Mental health is part of us all, and a supportive community is key to feeling safe and valued.
How to Take Action This Week:
For Yourself: Identify one small step to boost your mental health, such as getting more natural light, going for a walk, or enjoying music.
For a Friend or fellow member: Send a quick “thinking of you” message, lend a listening ear without judgment, or check in on a colleague.
For Our Community: Join us on Saturdays at Dyfatty Community from 1 pm to meet with others to break down stigma, have a coffee or joining us at different activities and family gatherings. Let us turn awareness into positive, lasting change.
Take one action today to build a healthier, more connected community.
Please remember that you do not have to face challenges alone, together we are stronger.
