Like so many others, earlier this year we had to cancel our vital face to face Third Sector Training for the foreseeable future, but we are delighted to bring you a range of online workshops over the next few months to make sure you have the skills you need to tackle the unique challenges presented by coronavirus.
These are live, interactive sessions, with time for questions and discussion rather than large scale ‘lecture’ type or pre-recorded courses.
We have heavily subsidised the sessions with many offered at £5, and the most expensive being the ‘Managing remote volunteer programmes’ at £15 (4 and a half hours over three days).
The courses fall within themes as follows, with sessions on:
Management Development
- Communicating with remote and disparate teams
- Managing staff performance at a distance
- Leading organisational change
- Having difficult conversations and dealing with conflict
Leadership Development:
Volunteer Management:
Learning & Development:
HR:
SCVS has commissioned independent trainer Eileen Murphy to run the sessions. Eileen is a trainer, coach and consultant with a track record of over 20 years working with the Third Sector in Wales. She designs and delivers bespoke online and face to face programmes for charities and community organisations of all sizes, and is well known to the sector in Swansea and wider.
Places are limited across all of these sessions, so please click here to view full details and to book your place.
(Priority is given to third sector organisations providing benefit in Swansea. Places on each session are limited to 3 people from each organisation to make sure as many groups as possible are able to benefit)
